Voice Coaches Premier Training: The Basics...
Three One-hour private training sessions, Two-Hour Private Studio Immersion Session arranged at a studio close to you, Commercial Demo Production, Narrative Demo Production, 50 CD demo copies with custom labels, Optimized Web Demo, Personal Web Site, More Than 12 Hours of Web-Based Education, Voice Coaches Premier Training Guide, and Long-Term Followup Support provided by our full-time professional team.
Private Training: 3 Sessions
These one on one sessions are typically conducted via our studio's phone-link system, allowing our producers to work with you one on one from the comfort of your home. Because your classes are one on one, each class is scheduled at a time and day convenient to you, including weekends. Each session is digitally recorded and provided to you as a permanent reference. Students can also choose to travel to our main studios for any part of this training. Classes can also be combined for your convenience.
Session One: Voice Evaluation & Opt-Out Option (1 hour) Included
Your first class with Voice Coaches will include a 12 Component Voice Evaluation. This evaluation will help us better understand your individual voice strengths. The results of your evaluation will be provided to you in document format for future reference. Occasionally we do choose to discontinue training based on speech language criteria. In this case a full refund is granted. As a Voice Coaches Client, you also have the option to discontinue training at the completion of class one for any reason. Should you make the decision to discontinue, you will be billed only for your first class and refunded any additional deposit. This opportunity is unique to our field and is intended to insure your complete comfort in pursuing our training.
Session Two: One On One Skill Development (1 hour) Included
Class two is intended to help you bring a variety of copy to life by applying conversational traits such as emphasis, pitch, dynamic variation, and implied thought to your reading. The goal of this session is to provide you with the foundation skills necessary to deliver genuine and believable material as a professional voice over artist. This session is also recorded and provided to you for future reference.
Session Three: One on One Demo Preparation (1 hour) Included
Your third one on one session is intended as an opportunity to review and develop skill reading a variety of scripts representing many areas of professional voice acting. From audio books and documentary material, to training and commercials, the goal of this session is to determine the specific material that best represents your individual voice strengths and your personal interests. This is a very collaborative session where we will ask you to play an active role in insuring you are completely comfortable with all of the material we select for your upcoming Studio Immersion Session. Like sessions one and two, this session is recorded and provided to you for future reference.
In-Studio: 2 Hours
Because much of today's most lucrative voice over opportunities take place in professional production facilities, this session will offer you real world experience in studio voice over work.
In-Studio Immersion One on One (2 hours) Included
In our main studios or a Voice Coaches Certified Studio close to you, during this two-hour session, you will step into the recording studio and in front of the microphone as our producer guides you through a broad range of commercial and narrative copy representing your individual interests and voice strengths. This two hour recording session is an included component of your Premier Program. Again, this private session can take place at our main studios or at a Voice Coaches Certified Studio close to you at no additional charge.
Demo Development & Production
In professional the voice over field, your demo acts as your resume. With Voice Coaches, complete demo production is included as part of your Premier Program. In addition to using legally licensed music & Background elements, all Voice Coaches scripts are also legally licensed and do not violate national brand names or trademarks.
Network Quality Commercial Demo Production Included
Our post production team will select material recorded during your Studio Immersion Session and mix your voice with music and sound elements to complete a network-quality demo. This demo will represent your individual strengths and interests in commercial reading and will be fine tuned to present you as a true professional. All scripts and music used in the production of your demo are legally licensed.
Network Quality Narrative Demo Production Included
Non-commercial or "Narrative" voice over work comprises nearly 90% of the available work opportunities in our field. Our production team will choose material recorded during your Studio Immersion Session to also complete a network-quality narrative demo. From audio-book samples to documentary or animation, this demo will represent your individual strengths and interests in narrative reading. All scripts and music used in the production of your demo is legally licensed.
Web-Based Curriculum
Beginning in 2006, Voice Coaches launched an ambitious project, to create an individualized web-based training environment. Our intention was not to replace one on one training with web-based education, it was instead to utilize web based training as a direct compliment to our one on one program. In 2008, we launched V-CWES, The Voice Coaches Web Education System. Access to this system is included with your Premier Training Program.
Web-Based Curriculum Included
V-CWES, The Voice Coaches Web Educational System is a personalized web-based training system developed specifically for our clients. Through this system you will have access to several web-based classes including video, audio, and written material. Classes included with your curriculum include: Studio Professionalism & Etiquette, Preparing For The Job, Exploring Motivational Assignment, and Effective Self Marketing. The V-CWES System also gives you access to our all-original copy library, your own "favorites" library, audio podcasts, and a Voice Coaches Producer Liaison, who is assigned to you to provide additional assistance throughout your training.
Products
For starters, to build success in this field you will need CD copies of your demo. Web optimized versions of your demo are also a great an included component of our program, but physical demo copies are a critical marketing tool. Why?... sending an email with an attachment such as an audio demo file to a new contact will usually land that file in that individual's "junk" folder. Emailing a demo is great if the contact is expecting the email, but keep in mind the number of unwanted emails that you receive! A physical CD Demo will help define you as a serious professional in our field. Both CD Demos and Web-optimized demos are included with the Premier Program.
Demo CD Replication Included
In addition to web-based marketing, a physical CD demo is an essential component of a Voice Actor's marketing package. 50 CDs of your completed demos with custom labels including your name and contact information are included with this program.

Web Optimized Demo Versions Included
Optimized specifically for email and other web-based methods of delivery, these copies of both your commercial and narrative demo are included with your program. The file size makes them ideal for fast email delivery to new contacts.

Featuring sections on Studio Professionalism, Voice Opportunities, Vocal health, Job Descriptions, and Effective Marketing, this guide also offers examples of professional correspondence.

Though it is not the only way to market yourself, the internet opens up a world-wide range of potential opportunities to you as a voice over artist. This is not just a page on a web site with thousands of other voice actors. This is your very own web site, designed to allow potential clients to listen to your demos online, and even download complete versions of your demo for review. You can easily add content and alter your website at anytime through our V-CWES system. 1 Year Hosting is also included.

Voices.com is the leading online marketplace for professional voice actors. Through a special arrangement, all Voice Coaches students will automatically receive a complimentary membership to Voices.com, including a voices.com profile page. Your Voices.com page will also show that you have been professionally evaluated and trained by our team at Voice Coaches. There is no additional charge for this benefit. Should you decide to upgrade to a different voices membership level, as a Voice Coaches Student, you will receive a package of complimentary services from our friends at voices.com

*Voice Coaches does reserve the right to discontinue training with those who do not meet basic speech language requirements. Affected Clients are issued a complete refund.
